Can you imagine being a business owner and trusting an employee so much you give the keys to your business and the combination of your safety with your secret recipe? This was Mr. Armes. And Mr. Eldridge, his trusted employee, responded by murdering him. Mr. David Eldridge should be found guilty because reasonable evidence exists. Mr. Eldridge was seen entering the restaurant two hours before the body was found and one hour later Mr. Armes was heard screaming loudly and Mr. Eldridge’s footprints were found in the grease around the body. Also, Mr. Eldridge was the only person other than Mr. Armes who had the keys to the restaurant and the combination to the safe, there was no sign of a break-in at the restaurant, and the safe was open with the recipe for the Super Burger stolen. …show more content…

Eldridge is guilty was that he was seen entering the Family Fun Restaurant two hours before the body was found and Mr. Eldridge’s footprints were found in the grease around the body. Crime scene investigators found that the floors of the restaurant were covered with blood and cooking grease. When the crime scene investigator checked the grease for footprints, they found Mr. Eldridge’s footprints in the grease around the body. William Warden testified that he saw Mr. Eldridge enter the restaurant two hours before Mr. Armes was found dead. Then an hour later he heard Mr. Armes screaming loudly, and when he went to investigate he found Mr. Armes dead. This proves my claim because it proves that Mr. Eldridge can be put at the crime scene. Mr. Eldridge’s footprints around the body also prove that Mr. Eldridge committed the murder. Mr. Armes screaming while Mr. Eldridge was seen in the restaurant proved that he killed Mr.
