I believe that education is a great tool that has the power to positively impact people and communities and that is a huge reason why it was my dream to become a teacher since I was a little kid looking up to my teachers. As a future educator, I will be dedicated to assisting students in realizing their fullest potential and to become involved and active members of society. I believe that every child has the ability to learn and develop, and it will be my duty as a teacher to help create a classroom where this can happen. To achieve this, I will work on creating a classroom that values diversity, creativity, and critical thinking. In my opinion, students learn quickest if they are engaged in the course material and are able to connect it to their own lives and experiences. I will use a variety of teaching strategies and tools to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities and help students take ownership of their learning, for example I will focus on group work, hands-on activities, and project-based learning, to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. To achieve this, I will be intentional about creating opportunities for both individual and collaborative learning, and will encourage students to work together to solve problems and explore new ideas. I believe that collaboration and cooperation are essential skills for success in the 21st century, and I will work to cultivate these skills in my students through collaborative projects, group discussions, and peer feedback. Ultimately, my goal as a teacher is to help my students develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they need to succeed both academically and personally. I believe that education is not just about acquiring knowledge, but also about developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills that are essential for success in the real world. To achieve this, I will be intentional about creating opportunities for my students to apply what they have learned to real-world problems and situations and will encourage them to be active participants in their own
