These skills are also transferable between jobs, as a result makes the individual more employable for a wide range of careers. If you have successfully met the essential requirements of having a suitable qualification, then you will be able to complete your daily tasks more effectively and you will tend to find it easier to cope with the changes in your workplace. Therefore, it is possible that they will recruit well-trained and well- educated lecturers who have achieved good qualifications for the course they are applying for, in comparison to other job positions and other schools in the borough. For example, if Uxbridge College were advertising a job for a Mathematics Lecturer, then they will shortlist those candidates who have a degree in Mathematics or either Science or computing and an advanced level teaching qualification.
