In the United States, the large sum of money paid to many professional athletes is controversial. In the United States, professional athletes for 4 major sports get payed an unbelievable amount of money. Major league baseball is the biggest money maker out of the 4 big ones. All of theses athletes work extremely hard for there money they are the best of the best for what they do, and work very hard at it. They make a lot of money for their teams their organizations, and their families. College athletes also work extremely hard, and make a lot of money for their schools, NCAA. This is different from professional sports they don't make not one dime of money for themselves, or for their family's.
