One profession that works with children and young people is a teacher; a teacher is responsible for their own class and responsible in making sure all their planning is following the correct curriculum that they are following. A teacher’s role is many different things such as planning, teaching the class and Student Interaction. Meaning a teacher has to be able to have many different skills and qualities in order for them to be able to teach and work with others to a good standard. A positive towards this would be that a teacher is getting to work with the children and help developing there aspects of development and their skills aswelll. an early year’s worker responsibilities are too teach all areas of the foundation stage, which focuses on helping children to achieve their early learning goals of having basic skills from literacy and numeracy in order for them to be able to have some sort of knowledge for the starting school . The role of an early year’s worker is to make sure all children are safe and secure within the nursery by having different policies and procedures in place to make sure all children are safe and secure away they do this is by having a key word that only the early year’s worker and person that is picking child up will only know. They will also plan many different activities which would allow them to see where the children’s skills are and which ones need abit more work. A positive to this would be for the children being able to build up new bonds with different people giving them somewhere else to go and someone else to talk to if they need so. A negative towards this is that it may be difficult when children are in transition. This relates to my child Bonnie as with Bonnie and her family work closely together with her key worker to make sure that her development is at the a good stage for her and that she has met all her milestones at the right stages.
