Part B Mock Interview

1. Welcome to the early childhood job interview. Please start out by telling me about your experiences working with young children.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be here. I highly appreciate it. I have worked with young children for the past six years. I took a course in early childhood development and education which has helped me deal with the children I work with. Throughout my work I have encountered children from different backgrounds and have learned how to balance the diversity so that they are able to learn without reservations. I have also learned how to talk to children and have them listen while instilling discipline in them without using punitive measures.

I have also enlightened parents on the need for interacting with children at home and how they need to do so to help with their development. I have implemented community based care by having other teachers in other classes involved with the children I teach and vice-versa.
7. How do you think the whole environment is a factor in a child's education?

8. Describe how guidance and interactions are used in early childhood.
Guidance and interactions are used in early childhood for purposes of guiding children on how to behave and helps in development of some personal and social skills. The guidance and interactions received helps shape their understanding and
