In our modern world of today, our energy consumption is up more than it was 50 or more years ago. We use energy for practically all aspects of our lives. We use energy from manufacturing to cooking, transportation, lighting, heating, cooling of our homes and work places. We also use it for entertainment and in some cases, for our entertainment. To ensure that our future generations will have energy to use as we have, it is important for us to conserve the energy that is at our disposal and or use renewable energy. By installing solar panels on our homes and businesses, we are able to use renewable energy and save our dollars and our energy resources. In addition to solar panels, there is also the use of wind power, hydroelectricity as well as biomass and bio-fuels. By using non-renewable energy, we are depleting the earths oil, coal and natural gases. Over time, as these energy resources become less available, the cost to consumers will increase.
In this paper I will discuss everyday energy resources we use, the impacts we have observed on both the environment and humans. Some new energy resources that are

One may say that there may be too many people on earth or that there may be too many people in one geographic location that is causing the depletion of our non-renewable resources (Our Ecological Footprint & the Built Environment, 2015). With that said, the fact remains there are too many people using up the non-renewable resources and once these resources are used up, there is no getting them back to use again. The choices we make for ourselves and our families greatly affect the availability of the non-renewable and renewable resources. Some of the choices we could make are riding a bike to work or school, carpooling with colleagues and perhaps walking. If within in our means, we can also make the choice of using wind and or solar power to establish electricity in our homes and
