As an inducted member of the organization, I would love to see the organization grow its presence and impact both within the community and on campus. I personally did not know about the Abeneefoo Kuo Society until after receiving the email and then going to the UGA multicultural programs and services page to gather more information. After reading what the society stood for I immediately knew it was an organization that I wanted to be a part of and wanted more people to know about! The mission statement as well as the specific goals of the society are positively impactful to not only the members of the society but also those with whom are served. A community service project that I would like to see added to the involvement agenda would be a leadership training day with a local school. In doing so, I would be actively engaged in meeting and getting to know the other members of the honor society and fostering a greater connection and presence on campus and in the community. I enjoy working with people in order to create and implement events that engage and teach those younger than us valuable skills that they will carry and use in their lives. Also, I would attend all meetings that my schedule allows, while actively participating and engaging in discussions and events that are planned. Being a member of Abeneefoo Kuo Honor Society would be an honor and I would treat it as such by being a member who is respectful to all I work with, being prompt to all meetings and events in which I can attend, and overall assisting in any way I can to create a warm and welcoming environment in the society while ensuring all is running and functioning as smoothly as
