This forces them to change their operations hence in order to coup with the changing business environment (Fletcher, 2004). The technology keeps on advancing hence the need for business enterprises to adopt the use of it in order to boosts its performance in the industry. Organizations that perform well in the industry starts to grow in size hence expanding their operations in the industry. The increase in size of a firm requires it to makes certain changes in its operations in order to incorporate the growth in its operations.
In the retail business board, Optus made a record about its growing strongly. In the telecommunications market of Australian Telstra is one of the most meaningful companies. Optus launch new services and improves competition, which result from its strong market position. Weaknesses Stockholders’ faith and its brand worth are damaged for the weak relationship between the Optus and regulatory bodies.

Main drivers of organizational change in “UPS” With the pace of time the society continues to progress and change its demand preferences. As the society evolves there occurs a necessity for new products and services, and in order to stay competitive various businesses often are forced to implement changes in their organizations. Organizations are always in constant interaction with various external forces such as customers, government, competitors, suppliers, stockholders, unions, and the society as well. All these act on organizations as a basis to change. “UPS” was mainly interested in discovering methods to expertise in basic shipping of goods, information, and services, as well as to leverage their wide infrastructure.
First thing that I had to do for this paper was read chapter two from the textbook Among Cultures. In this chapter there were eight very short quizzes to do. I had to do this for each of the eight world views. This chapter helped sum up different styles and ways of communication. It was very interesting to actually see what my scores where vs the American scores.
The organisational culture is a set of certain assumptions, values, and norms being shared by the members within an organisation. Employees are informed about the importance of an organisation through the values helping in increase of organisational effectiveness. The culture is also known for performing different functions within an organisation. The organisational culture has influence on the organisational behaviour and other aspects of management that are important to understand for management (Bell & Smith, 2010). For this reason, the purpose of the paper is to provide the analysis of organisational culture, management practices, motivation and performance, group dynamics, and conflict management within Tesco.
Literature Review In 2005, Sprint’s first major merger was with Nextel Communications. The idea of the two companies merging was to bring two different types of phones services together (personal cell phone and home services) in order to increase their stock price. However, that was not the case, soon after the merger Nextel executives and managers left the new company, stating the two business cultures did not get along. Biodata: Julian Steward was born on January 31, 1902 in Washington DC. He was the second kid of Thomas Stewart and Grace Steward. His dad was the head of the Board of Examiners of the U.S. Patent Office, and his uncle was the main forecaster for the U.S. Climate Bureau. His dad was a staunch agnostic, however his mom changed over to Christian Science when Julian was only nine. He was an American anthropologist who was renowned for his role in developing “The concept and method of cultural ecology” and “Scientific theory of cultural change”.
PepsiCo International seeks for employees that are passionate with their work together with an energetic workforce. For this to happen, TMC has came out with their own modified simplified John Kotter’s 8-Step Change Model, it’s a four step process known as the Culture Change Roadmap. The change started in 2004 and with this, it has successfully guided PepsiCo International throughout. Ever since the implementation of the Culture Change Roadmap, PepsiCo International has shown significant improvement. It has first of successfully created an awareness of understand diversity and inclusion especially among the senior leaders.

One of the most grounded contentions for the significance of size as a determinant of the structure. Size is the most significant condition influencing the formation of associations. That is the bigger the association, the more declared the division of work inside of it, the same being valid for the functional separation of the organization into units. Likewise, human beings belongs to the Primate Order, which is known to consist mainly of apes, monkey and lemurs. These primates all share a similar evolutionary process as well as they all possess a characteristic present in humans, that is the enculturation process. For example, Koko the gorilla was taught sign language from an early age through exposition and nurture, resulting in mastering it perfectly. Hence, if primates are able to adapt and change to its culture, how is the enculturation process of human beings? I based the research on my own enculturation process having been exposed to two different cultures, in order to perceive, how nurture and nature affects and correlates with ones personality, culture and language proficiency.
