I believe children in my care should be treated as unique individuals with amazing potentials. They are our future and I strive to help them discover, understand and express who they are and what is meaningful and interesting to them in their lives.
By setting up a classroom that is interesting but also challenging I believe I allow children to follow their natural curiosity and create opportunity for finding answers to their questions. I am convinced children learn best through play time within the environment that is specially set up for a particular group of children.
I have no doubt that expanding learning centers e.g., dramatic area by providing real life items (empty cereal or milk boxes) can help children participate in situations from a grown-up world, understanding the daily activities that take place with their parents or guardians but most importantly I feel it provides abstract thinking, interactions with

I see myself as an educator who is flexible and finds her role depending on the situation. I can be a co-player when children ask me to join their fun; observer to find what changes might be needed in the program or a communicator between parents and children to let them know about their children’s accomplishments or any concerns.
My role can be challenging as well as changing with different personalities in the classroom but since I see the positive outcome of my work I try to continue doing what I can best and also learn from others around me. I believe every child should be given the same opportunity to learn, grow and participate.
Rearranging the classroom, researching ideas but most importantly getting the necessary training to support children with exceptionalities and their families is the process that I constantly work on and try to
