Issues I Face When Becoming The President Of A Popular Student Organization

There are numerous of issues that I will face when taking a new leadership position such as this becoming the president of the most favored student organization on campus. Being a president of a popular student organization would be intimidating, as I know that it may be hard to fulfill the shoes and make my own perennial impact. I have always talked myself out of being able to do certain things and complete certain tasks. I will address this internal issue by constantly setting mini goals and achieving them. Another major issue that I may face is the other organization members may feel that the only reason I won was due to my grades. I think it is important to promote what the organization is trying to accomplish in order to achieve and have success of the organization. Writing down each of my goals regardless of how small or big they are and or how easy or hard they may be to accomplish. Making small goals that will amount or help me accomplish a big goal. I will refrain from settling from my personality type character traits. I won’t take on the responsibility of everything and make sure that tasks are divided up accordingly. I will not get frustrated by those who are not like me and welcome change instead of being opposed to it. I included how important it is to not settle for anything regardless of how small it may be. Creating a zone just for me as well as making more time for myself. Taking time to focus on one is important to have a successful year. Creating an a effective approach to having a professional development plan such as preparing myself for real life such as meeting deadlines ahead of time. Creating a vision board is crucial as well as developing a mission statement. My mission statement will help define my optimal future aspirations it will help produce guidance and allow me to focus on what I want to achieve.
