I wanted to return back to school after finishing my 7 years (from 2002 to 2009) of military service as airborne special operations unit in seeking to pursue new career and education path. My first choice of major when I started my enrollment with Kaplan University was Psychology Applied Behavioral Analysis as I thought about becoming a counselor at one point. During my college years and in between work and personal life, I have taken some time to do volunteer services with various nonprofits and charities. My primary job at the time was government and legal work for the state and the judicial system of 4 years. I eventually had to withdraw from Kaplan University due to the fact of increasing costs. It taken me almost 3 years to find a school similar to Kaplan University that has a great reputation, excellent quality of education, but without the expensive cost just to earn a higher education. I’ve came across in learning of Bethel University from another fellow Veteran which caught my interest. After reaching and learning of what Organizational Leadership degree is about, it made my interest grown a lot more as it suited my current knowledge and skills. My current title is a martial artist competitor as I would love to continue my other work with nonprofits and charities as by having such degree. With my earned degree in Organizational Leadership it will allow me to seek a career opportunity in the nonprofit sector from where I would gone from serving my country to serving my
