I recently went on a campus tour of the University of Redlands with my Senior AVID class, and not only did I enjoy the tour of the gorgeous campus, I learned so much about the programs available there. The 4-4-1 academic calendar is a congenial commodity that I was not familiar with until the tour. I was very captivated by the individual possibilities proposed, such as the ability to study abroad and the ability to execute research on an independent assignment. Not only can these opportunities contribute to one’s educational growth, but, they can also contribute to a student’s personal growth.
