Communication is an essential component of every organization. When district leaders take on the task of creating important documents like LCAP, communication provide insight to all rational from various stakeholders. The method by which information is exchanged and input are gathered have dramatically in recent years. To begin the steam of communication it is important to develop a clear, consistent messages. For the development of the LACP, a school district must engage parents, educators, employees and the community to establish these plans. The focused communication efforts should be placed on taking action on behalf of students. Due to the high volume of stakeholders, communicating often and early is essential. The development of the LCAP begins with shared stories regarding how what, and why programs and services provided the proper form of support to students. In order to determine the effectiveness of these various programs, all stakeholders will be asked to conduct a needs assessment in order to develop goals, identifying services, and creating a spending plan generated on a shared sense of purpose. …show more content…

During these meetings, stakeholders are able to develop relationships amongst community members. At this time, parents are able to see the important role they play in the education process. By providing training and support for parents, district leaders can provide parents with a clear understanding of the task at hand. I am important to communicate the essential role parents have in the education of their child. Furthermore, the creation of the LCAP requires that the community be apart of the decision making the process as well.
