Leadership development plan
Leadership behavior and development of effective leaders is a major concern in all types of organization. A leader is a person who guides and makes followers in a positive direction. Every leader has their own type of leadership style to follow in an organization. Leadership has different types like transformational, authentic and servant leadership which suits to style of leadership related to single person. Leaders are best followers and active listeners which make people follow them. A leader can be either action or task oriented and people oriented. High level of fluctuation in either of the type do not make effective results and so leader is a person who balances both action as well as emotion.

Knowing and assessing about strengths and weakness associated with leadership style helps every individual to learn and gain leadership qualities. Strengths and weakness of my leadership is as follows:
Strengths associated with my leadership:
Three leadership styles which best suit my qualities are servant, charismatic and coaching style of leadership each having their own strengths of leadership. Strengths associated with servant type of leadership are it helps people and guides people to monitor leadership styles. Strengths associated with coaching leadership style include transferring knowledge from leader to follower, creates success and make team comfortable and motivated in an organization (Venkataramani, 2015). (4) At first I, would like to follow my own style of leadership and check results for 3-4 months.
(5) Then improvise my leadership style by learning how to command and guide people in a positive direction.
(6) I would learn to engage in participation actively and address the problems by making a unique leadership style
(7) After observation of my leadership style for 6 months, I would take feedback and again make a goal and challenge to improvise my leadership style because a leader can never be perfect, there will always be something to learn and revise.
Support:
Every leadership style needs support to lead and influence in an organization. The support can be from inspired leaders by following their path or from followers or from organization and even from parents. I would like to address and know the need of adapting and changing my leadership style before implementing in an organization or any work place or informal situation or in a conflict.
