As a family nurse practitioner, one would work in a hospital with conventional doctor’s office setting. A family NP would work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to deliver family-focused care to people suffering from chronic diseases. Therefore, the NP would emphasize on wellness and prevention as well as treatment of serious conditions that affect family members.

Effective leaders value teamwork and thus seek to set an example for subordinates to follow. Working together makes tasks easier to execute and follow in addition to making sure that the work is evenly allocated thereby allowing all the team members to work in an efficient manner.
Leaders who are easy to work with make it possible for team members to approach such leaders comfortably with ideas and solutions to problems. Good leaders welcome other people’s ideas for implementation wherever possible. Interpersonal skills improve engagement between the leader and other organizational members, which instills trust in the leader. Self-improvement allows leaders to take personal responsibility in building the skill set for personal development.
However, I would work on delegating responsibilities to avert management disasters in the healthcare organization. As such, I would work to pinpoint other workers’ strengths and thus assign responsibilities accordingly. Delegating responsibilities also involves taking charge of organizational matters to ensure that everyone does the job they are best suited.
