The American Dream was sketched within the Declaration of Independence; “all men are created equal” with the right to “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness”. These phrases began to conclude that life should be richer and fuller for all Americans. The formal five standards in The American Dream include; democracy, rights, liberty, opportunity, and equality. In the present-day, the modern and simplified American Dream for an average person consists of; having a basic education, attending college, finding a job, raising a family, supporting that family, saving money for retirement, and assisting the next generation. However, more things must be done to strive for equal opportunity, success, and ultimately a better life for all.
I have revised my thesis statement to two sentences, rather than one. This is so that my point can be understood in a more effective way. My thesis statement is as follows. “There should be more stringent screening processes for individuals wanting to own guns in the United States because the current laws and regulations do not require mental health background checks and evaluations. Too many people with mental health issues are slipping through the cracks and obtaining weapons and then using them on innocent people.”
But now I can say I am getting better at it as well as being more comfortable creating one. My essay paper “Bokonon White Lies” was a successful paper. From the thesis to the three body paragraph and the conclusion I can truly say it was very well organized and very thought out, although I might have struggle with grammar and punctuations, I think overall I fulfilled TCC ’s composition I expectations. I believe my essay was very well organized.

Your paper was very well written, I found no errors with formatting. As for grammar, I did find a few errors, but nothing major. I recommend that you use Grammarly.com or Paperrater.com. if you don’t already use them. Paperrater.com goes more in-depth and even tells you if there’s any plagiarism, and the level of high vocabulary and sentence in your paper.
One of the things that the peer feedback discussed was the amount of well written support was present for each of my examples. However, some said they would have liked to see more examples for each point. Because my outline was less of an sentence by sentence layout of what I wanted to write, and just covered the points I wanted to hit my word choice was a bit difficult. Along with misspelled words, some words seemed to have no presuppose in the essay, and made no sense in the sentence. These unneeded words made the essay sound more vacant and underdeveloped.

I choose three articles that were closely related to my thesis statement. Actually finding these articles were a little more difficult than I first assumed.
