My Writing Assignment: Personal Experience

The writing assignment I enjoyed was the cover letter. I loved this assignment because this assignment gave me a real life experience on something that will happen. The sources that were on the Weebly really helped and are videos that I will reference when I get older. Also, this cover letter showed me how to be persuasive, direct and polite all at once. The other writing assignment I enjoyed was writing a blog. This was pretty cool because we were able to give advice to anyone on any topic we had experience. It was pretty fun and refreshing to write about what we knew and that it could possibly help or benefit one of our peers. I believe that none of the assignments could have been improved the instructions and rules for the assignment was

I am proud about all the work and effort I put into it. Some assignment would be difficult and hard but I put my attention and focus on that assignment, I will then get the benefiting results I wanted. I could have improved on the cover letter and descriptive observation. I could improve on this by making my descriptive observation more simple and straightforward. I could improve on my cover letter by adding more reasons on why I should get the job. If I had to give advice to a new student taking this course next year, I would say to take their time on the assignments and also to do their virtual in a calming atmosphere which will help you become more calm and have less stress on doing the

For example, one week would be something more serious or something more time consuming. Though, the requirement wasn’t difficult hard. The requirement on how well we do, was acceptable and understandable. The virtual took about an hour and this is a reasonable amount of time for the virtual. The instructions were very clear. It felt like you were talking directly to us. The instructions were straight to the point and simple. We understood what you wanted us to do and how to do it.

Any other writing-related topics I wish we could have learned about this year is doing more vocabulary building writing. This will help our vocabulary and build on our speech. This will become helpful, especially in college essays. Aside from that, I think it would be cool to do expository writing. It will be helpful when we go to college and we need to write about research. We will be able to learn how to organize information and explain to it.

Other online courses I would like to see offered at KCS are accounting and finance, programming and business. All of these classes involve computer skills and websites that you can use. These classes can be a good practice and it can come useful when we get older. Also, these are classes that are classes that catches our classmates attention. Our peers would take these classes if they were offered and will take it
