When it comes to Lowe’s mission statement it is one that is seems simple and puts people at its forefront. Customer service and community service are core commitments at Lowe's — and they have been for more than 60 years (Lowe’s, 2018). This shows that giving back to the community that they operate in and the customers they serve are very important to the company. In business you will hear a lot of people say that the success of a business is based on profits, but it seems like Lowe’s is also basing it on how well they work in the community.
Verizon’s mission statement states that it will be ethical by maintained excellence in the products it delivers. It says they will maintain a reliable network with the latest technology. Verizon’s mission statement says the they will continue to make a digital world and innovative lifestyles possible. Verizon's consumer perception has fallen because of some of their unionized workers are on strike. The strike is primarily from their landline and FiOS fiber network, but it is also affecting their wireless network as well.

With Best Buy now being the largest company of its kind, they now have different and new competitors such as Amazon, which they are now diversifying themselves in order to compete with Amazon by price matching. However, this may be risky due to Amazon operating on such low profit margins.
