While I have always performed well in math, I really enjoyed the science classes that I took, especially AP Biology and Honors Biology. From a young age, I have always held a special interest in the complexities of the human anatomy and the functions of each part of the body. What I learned in Honors and AP Biology gave me a greater respect for the intricacies of living organisms and inspired me to further improve my understanding of the human body . In pursuit of my goal, I focused on medicine and related subjects in my academics. I studied biology extensively as a part of my school’s Academic Decathlon team and AP Biology classes, paying extra attention to subjects related to medicine such as anatomy and physiology.
Hot Topic Post Lab II Marine plankton are often mislabeled by many marine researchers. Originally, scientists classified them as either phytoplankton (primary producers) or zooplankton (primary consumers). However, recent studies reveal that these organisms are not a dichotomy, but rather a single class of multifaceted plankton. These mixotrophs acquire both plant and animal like characteristics and are very abundant in the earth’s oceans. Mixotrophic plankton are responsible for almost half of the photosynthetic activity on earth.

Do you think restaurants should be required to post nutritional information or should they not have to. Restaurants should be required to post nutritional information. My first reasoning for this is when people have the option to see how much calories are in there food they have a better chance of understanding what they should not eat and what they should eat. My second reasoning is without labeled stuff people would not know how much nutrition or sodium is in there food, and they would not know how much calories to lose if they went to the gym. My final reason is people want to keep up with how much junk food and how much healthy food they ate in one day.
