In America not many people follow a healthy diet, and this has cause tremendous amounts of obesity. I believe that we can make a change in our lives for a healthier life if we set the goal and have the confidence in ourselves.

Different kinds of foods can be very unhealthy, and we consume them everyday, simply because they are extremely affordable more than healthier foods. This is something that should be taken care of, because the results of this is causing less sales in healthier foods. I personally try to stay away from food that is not good for my body, and even though it might seem difficult to accomplish, I can say that it is very easy. Healthy foods taste good like grapes, carrots, salads, wheat bread and many others. I choose to stay away from grease at all times since its high on cholesterol, the cholesterol enters your veins, arteries and build up. Eventually it can lead to heart disease, avoiding foods that contain grease would be avoiding more if people were inform about the consequences. …show more content…

Like for example Mc Donald’s, burger king, Wendy’s, Kentucky fried chicken, and many others have increased the amount of obese people in the united states. People often purchase foods without reading the nutritional facts, even though not all of the food we consume at fast food restaurants contain all the labels describing the amount of calories provided. In fast food restaurants there is no limit in how much a person decides to eat, although it can be very unhealthy and risky to digest too many calories. Consuming burgers is certainly very risky, since it contains about 233 calories per burger, and it is without including fries, apple pies, chicken nuggets etc. Burgers can provide high amounts of cholesterol, and saturated fats, which can lead to the increase of cholesterol in the blood, can cause heart diseases, stroke, and also kidney
