As a prospective member of the Masters of Arts in History program at Liberty University I hope to accomplish several things. I am currently serving as a high school history teacher and this program will benefit both my students and myself alike in the foreseeable future. This includes reaching the goals of earning my master’s degree which will result in a higher level of professional knowledge in my content area, while increasing my income simultaneously. This is not the only positive factor, Liberty’s program will also contribute directly to growth in regards to my relationship with Jesus Christ.
I am interested in Howard University because it is an HBCU that encompass the themes of cultural diversity and education. Your commitment to scholars ensures me that at your school I will be right at home. Since I intend on on going down a medical path, I know that Howard University will provide me with best resources to follow my dreams. As a child I was always interested in the worlds around me and how things worked. As a result I participated in a Summer Enrichment Program located at Indiana University in Bloomington.
I come from a lower, middle class family. Both of my parents are employed full time but do not make enough income to supply the $20,000 it takes to attend Missouri State. They have always encouraged me to want more for myself, both in my career and in my life in general. Although I am still deciding on a major, I know that I want to make enough money to live comfortably and be able to provide for my family.
All of the Pennsylvania job advertisements require a Master’s of Library Science, which I will qualify for in about two years. Nevertheless, my undergrad was completed at Waynesburg University with a Bachelor’s degree in History and International Studies of Culture in May of 2014. While attending Waynesburg University, I was first introduced to the option of creating a library career. I began my career similar to most undergrad students by applying for the work-study program in the university’s library.

Therefore, I completed the 3 parts of the United States Medical Licensing Exams (USMLE´s) while still a student in Colombia, undertook a research fellowship in Fort Lauderdale, worked as a project manager for a grant, wrote studied and performed statistical analysis and presentation of studies at National and International meetings. This challenge was extremely difficult, but thanks to a supportive team of mentors, I was able to learn how to do all these tasks and later became the 2017 physician scientist for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Wake Forest. Here I am a research resident, where I work as a PhD student in the Molecular Medicine and Translational Program studying the relationship between arthritis and cancer proliferation while also studying
I want to embrace the challenge of USC. As a Film and Television Production major, I know that I can expect a fast-paced, hands-on learning environment. Will it be demanding? Of course. Will I occasionally feel overwhelmed?

One of the most appealing things about University of Oregon is the active inclusion and constant work towards creating a more expansive community. I hope to study Philosophy with a minor in ethnic studies or women and gender studies. These majors I feel will help me pursue my personal goal of a diverse education. As a woman from a conservative part of the east bay with a unique connection to the LGBTQ+ community, I feel that I have a lot to offer to the diverse discourse that The University of Oregon offers. Additionally being a person of privilege I see that I have a responsibility to take a set back and listen to those who have less fortunate geopolitical locations.
I was motivated to join the community at Knox College because I’ve always craved an intimate learning environment. Despite pressure from external sources to seek a college that would directly correlate to a career, liberal arts colleges have always interested me. When I think about the opportunity that I have been given to strive for a well-rounded education, I could never trade that in for the promise of a job. Knowledge excites me. When we work together as a community to share what we’ve learned we not only grow as individuals, but we contribute to something larger than ourselves.

My involvement with speech, debate and sports has made me more than just an academic person In the pursuit of excellence and with a passion to reach the highest skills in my discipline, I look upon University of Texas, Arlington a springboard to accomplish my dreams. This esteemed institution can serve as a ladder and enable me to achieve higher aims by providing me the most contemporary input and exposure.
My interest for The University of Texas derives from my interest in the Architecture program. The past summer I had the opportunity to participate in the Architecture Academy at the University of Texas and the overall experience solidified my interest in Architecture and the overall University. I appreciated the sense of being able to have a small college in a rather large school. I enjoyed exploring Austin’s culture and I was drawn to the art and music of the City.
The heart of New York City is New York University. By joining the network of NYU, I will be able to study at an institution that has a long tradition of academic excellence among private universities in the United States. Additionally, I will be able to be part of an internationally recognized learning network with locations all across the globe. It would be a pleasure to study at a globally recognized university. A friend of mine who is a recent graduate from NYU College of Nursing has praised the program and conveyed to me a very positive experience.
I chose to pursue a degree in political science in order to obtain a career that would provide me the capacity to have a significant and lasting impact on my community. As a political science student at USC, I would pursue any opportunity that would enrich my academic experience as well as allow me to become an effective leader that contributes to the USC community. One potential opportunity that I would seek upon becoming a USC student is to join the Political Science Undergraduate Association, or the PSUA. As a dedicated student, I admire the experience and knowledge of each faculty member and consider them invaluable resources. I believe that joining this organization and eventually gaining a leadership role would allow me to promote learning
