Outlining Your Profession There are many details about my future profession as a Nutritionist that will contribute to my success and allow me to have an ongoing career. Knowing the overview of my profession is vital to knowing what I will be expected to do. Being an expert in food and nutrition will allow you to give advice on eating habits for a healthy lifestyle. The provided advice on healthy eating habits will help your clients to achieve their health related goals. You will need to explain the nutrition issues specific to your clients’ health needs and diet. Developing meal plans will be vital as well as altering them to cater to your clients’ specific needs. Keeping Track of the changes according to the plan you have set in motion will help you to assess the results. Having group discussions will allow people to learn about how good eating habits can combine with preventing or managing different diseases. Most individuals that want to be a Nutritionist like to make up ideas for things, think on their feet, and figure things out (My Next Move, 2016). I love helping and being of service to people which shows the trait of concern for others. Giving advice when needed and teaching them what they need to know to be in good nutritional health demonstrates dependability. Being able to lead my client’s in the right direction by being honest with them shows integrity. Making decisions and working with them to help them carry them out displays cooperation. Taking risks to go the distance with the creativity in my work and making the nutritional guidelines understandable exemplifies attention to detail. By leading by example for the guidelines that I set for my client’s is an example of self-control.
