My goal as an artist is to allow opportunities for those in low income brackets, so they may have a form of expression that can help them release energy into a positive space. I think I will try to approach different types of classes in different ways and provide both a history and anatomy class for dancers at the studio I hope to open. I feel like having a historical context is important in dance. In addition I felt I didn’t have a great understanding of how my body worked and functioned until highschool, and I believe knowing those things is pertinent to avoiding injury. I hope to provide a well rounded and balanced dance education for my future students and I hope that this process will help me achieve that
