The main objective in my position as the marketing intern is being responsible of providing a pleasant and professional atmosphere conducive to the employees and their individual success, as well as the success of the salon. My guidelines revolved around stimulating the growth of our employees, the growth of the salon, and keeping the customers happy with the organization. This position exists for me to gain experience in the marketing field. The internship has been helpful during my senior year at Old Dominion University and is preparing me for the future I am striving for. The salon has achieved this through the management style, philosophy, and principles of the organization. Also, I have learned a lot about marketing which was my main objective and expectation. I appreciate the fact that the primary focus of our business is the customer. We would not be a successful business without our customers, so therefore, providing superlative customer service underlies our entire salon’s operations and culture. Each customer is treated like a member of our family. We strive to cater to the needs of our family, regardless of their age. Our philosophy towards growth, security, and excellence is achieved through teamwork, education, fulfilling the client's needs, and adapting to change.
