As an undergraduate, I have had a diverse set of classes. As a business student, I have taken a wide range of business courses ranging from accounting and finance to management and economics. Throughout the course of my undergraduate studies, I have had multiple opportunities to present ideas, values, and information to individuals, whether that was through classroom presentations, networking events, or as an e-board member of a club. Having taken a diverse set of classes at Saint Louis University, I have been given the valuable opportunity to meet a wide range of individuals with different beliefs, aspirations, and opinions. I knew by junior year that the path I was on was not right for me. Although I had always considered a career in medicine, led by family and friends who said I could not succeed and a lack of confidence in myself, I let a fear of failure stop me from ever acting on my dream. However, a single general chemistry class changed my whole outlook and gave me the courage to change my path. While my end goal no longer includes strictly business, I do not regret my business classes as they have provided me with valuable skills that I can use to manage teams and business aspects of my future career. • Make a Difference Day and Showers of Service- I have volunteered every year (aside from my semester abroad) doing various service activities ranging from making cards and blankets for hospice patients to cleaning up yards for the elderly
• Pre-Professional Health Club- I have been a member of the club and have attended the meetings, learning more about the health field and attending outside activities such as suturing labs.
• The International Business Club- I have been a member of the club since freshman year.
Throughout my participation in the club, I have served as both the Secretary and Vice President, organizing meetings and events, and serving as the head of all correspondence for the club.
• Saint Louis University Marketing Club- From 2014 to 2016 I served as the VP of Programs. I worked with a group of people to restart the club after it had lost its charter. We worked together to organize teams, design a club logo and t-shirt, and set up meetings with SGA.
