Pride, tradition, and success are all components that a school should encompass. Success and experience are directly related. In order to effectively accomplish goals, it is necessary to have a plan. My success and goals rely greatly on my motivation and education. Through a school like UF I know that I will be able to work towards a vision that will not only benefit myself, but also benefit others. If admitted to the University of Florida I plan on getting involved in leadership, challenging myself academically, and participating in student life.
Leadership has always been important in my life. Growing as a leader helps me grow as a person and as a student. The University of Florida offers many opportunities for me to excel in leadership, but one specific gateway it has is Student Government. I have always been passionate about making a difference, listening to others, helping others, and making my school an even better place. By becoming involved in Student Government at the University of Florida, not only will it expose me to more legitimate government experiences, but it will also create a means of building relationships with other student leaders who will work towards similar goals in order to impact the student body in an effective way. In order to fully understand something I will need to put what I learn into practice. The University of Florida is a school that will not only challenge me academically, but will connect me to different sources that could catalyze my success in the future. More specifically, the Innovation Academy that UF offers could provide an excellent foundation for me to work cohesively with other students from different areas of study.
