Howard University is a predominantly black school, expressing excellence, leadership, truth and service I could contribute to the legacy of Howard University in many ways. Growing up I've always wanted to gain the experience of a historically black college or university. As a member of the National Beta Club we promote the ideals of academic achievement and leadership. Being apart of the National Beta Club caused me to strive for my goals and take leadership in all that I do. The mission statement states "To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students."

The mission for the Johnston Community College (JCC) Child Development Center is to produce an early childhood education that would meet the needs of the families whom are being served, by providing a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. They believe in training teachers to work with young children in loving respectful ways, that would enrich their environment. The goal is to provide young children with the best care possible, and to aid the Early Education Students in becoming the next generation of Early Education Professionals. Johnston Community College Child Development Center was established in 1998. It is an extension of the Early Childhood Education department.
Duke University’s mission statement is what initially caught my eye. Duke presents itself to be very invested in their students’ success. In my search for a college that will help me grow as an individual, that attribute is very attractive to me. Within the various clubs offered, I would love to join ASPIRE or Duke PAWS. Through these clubs, I would have the ability to help and positively impact the community, which is something I have greatly enjoyed doing throughout my high school career.
The mission statement of Xavier University of Louisiana states, “The ultimate purpose of the University is to contribute to the promotion of a more just and humane society by preparing its students to assume roles of leadership and service in a global society.” My educational goals are to successfully complete fours of undergraduate education and receive my bachelors degrees in Biology. I also plan on applying to and going to medical school upon receiving my bachelors in Biology. My career goals are to practice obstetrics and gynecology. With much practice and skill I hope to work towards having my own practice in this field, being able to accommodate all types of people.

College always seemed to be on my life’s road map. It was never a matter of if I would go, but rather when I would go; what subject would I devote my time to studying and most importantly, which institute would I decide to attend. Regent University, so I have read, “was founded on biblical principles to make a significant difference in our world”. Their mission statement rings true by the testimony given to me by a couple of coworkers that attend Regent and only have the best reports to give. I look forward to joining the Regent family and expanding my mental and spiritual horizons.
According to the SDSU Ambassadors page, Ambassadors are “students who are specially trained to be the official student representatives, tour guides and orientation leaders of San Diego State University”. As an Ambassador I would take my role beyond that. I want to have a lasting impact on the prospective and future Aztecs and families that I get the opportunity to meet. With a role as an SDSU Ambassador I will hold myself accountable to being a good role model for prospective and incoming students in order to make a difference on campus.
I am grateful to have encountered the National Society of Leadership and Success in my life. It is a pleasure to be the President of the San Juan College NSLS chapter. It has been a great semester so far. I truly believe in the society’s mission statement considering it has helped student members at San Juan College. In the Marine Corps we have a saying, “Marines don’t rise to any occasion we simply default to our level of training”. This simply means that our training prepares us for any mission that we may face from humanitarian missions to conflict over seas. The quality of training may not always be that great, but the effort we put into the training and the emphasis we place on the importance of it allows us to be more effective to the point our training is more rigorous that the actual events themselves. While reading Colorado Christian University (CCU) Strategic Objective—as I was identifying two biblical worldviews—one word stood out to me above all, “shall”.
