The mission statement of Xavier University of Louisiana states, “The ultimate purpose of the University is to contribute to the promotion of a more just and humane society by preparing its students to assume roles of leadership and service in a global society.” My educational goals are to successfully complete fours of undergraduate education and receive my bachelors degrees in Biology. I also plan on applying to and going to medical school upon receiving my bachelors in Biology. My career goals are to practice obstetrics and gynecology.
