Finding My Purpose Purpose is defined as “The reason for which something is done, created or for which something exists” according to Google. I think purpose, is the reason why people get out of bed each morning. The feeling that you are on the right path, and a sense of belonging. Being the oldest out of four siblings. I believe my purpose consists of teaching, mentoring, and motivating. What is your purpose? I am hoping, as a member of the CSUG Admissions Committee, it involves motivating students, and gifting second chances to pursue their dreams, and become the best version of themselves. I genuinely care about others’ well-being and progress, which is why the majority of my jobs did not feel like “work” and I stayed dedicated longer than most people could tolerate. Organization was not something that came naturally to me, I read countless novels, articles, and watched speeches from top CEOs, and founders to learn the best practices. I am now excellent with time management and fully utilize To Do lists and mobile agendas. I will execute and commit to the perfect school schedule. I go out of my way to polish both sides. I observed my productivity while attending online courses, such as Edx MOOCs, I realized that I understand, and comprehend a lot more in a online class setting, I felt more in control, and I enjoyed being on my own time. I felt I was able to finish assignments rapidly quick in comparison to the past.

My top weaknesses, that I am currently improving are. Public Speaking, I have progressed tremendously and this is still something I am currently practicing and role-playing with individuals that have inspired me with their confidence, and calm presence while speaking. Another weakness I am facing is, the need to understand something completely before moving on, this has made my productivity, slower than my peers.
