For the longest time I have been interested in the medical field. The medical field is an area that has always caught my eye because you constantly help others. Aside from helping other people, I am also interested in studying in the medical field because I will be learning a bit everyday about how the human body. Two careers that I am primarily interested in studying is psychology and nursing. Psychology has always been an interesting career because you get to learn about why humans do the things they do. Whereas since I was young I loved envisioning myself as a nurse and act like I was one and my dolls were my patients. Aside from research, I have also recruited to taking courses like Psychology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Chemistry. I have also had conversations with a Nursing Professor that before becoming a teacher she was a nurse for a variety of areas like Cardiology and Neurology. Through our conversation I was able to learn about what courses would be the most helpful to take in high school in order to prepare myself. When I eventually graduate high school, I want to pursue a master's degree in college in biology and perhaps in psychology as well. I would like to pursue a career in nursing where I can use my learning of psychology to be able to properly interact with patients. Eventually after working a few years as a Registered Nurse, I would like to become an International Nurse to travel to places that are in highly need of aide. In my lifetime I have had to not only face economic struggles, but I have also had to face my fear of letting my parents hard work go to waste as an obstacle. From this obstacle I have learned the meaning of what it takes hard work to thrive. My obstacle has helped me become a stronger, better person, and motivates to succeed.
