I have worked as an IT management consultant to implement and oversee projects in SAP technology for over 15 years now. My experience working with both local and international clientele has helped me to understand how different industries can run effectively using technology as a key business enabler. Over the years one of my key learnings has been the role of leadership backed by sound strategies to influence the project team and the overall state of the project. I have identified and implemented viable solutions to increase revenues for my employers on the horizontal chain of technology but as I propel in my professional life I wish to position myself as a Strategist able to identify new business opportunities, implement strategies and ensure optimal strategic alignment in the value-creating ecosystem of the organization. …show more content…
An engineering degree and years of experience have prepared me to take up challenging roles in future but a global MBA will serve as a catalyst to prepare me in achieving both short term and long term career goals. To successfully achieve my goals I would need to develop strong business acumen which I currently do not possess in its entirety and hone my skills in areas such as leadership and negotiation.
My short term career goal will be a stepping stone to my long term career goal as over the long term I wish to co-found a strategy consulting firm in India and Canada to target local and international clientele with primary focus on technology. With consulting and strategy management backgrounds, I would be able to formulate and implement strategies or
