My motivation for pursuing pharmacy as a career stems from my early exposure to the medical field. Since my youth, I have nurtured a passion for understanding medicine and learning about its potential to heal people and improve their quality of life. I grew up observing my father, who is a highly regarded pharmacist, and his profession afforded me the opportunity to witness firsthand the power of this field to assist patients with their recovery and renewal. Overtime, I have developed an appreciation for modern improvements in health care and have supported efforts to ensure that patients receive the quality care that they deserve. Pursuing an advanced degree in Pharmaceutical Studies represents the next logical step in my academic and professional journey. I am committed to immersing myself in the theory, strategy, methodology, and practical application that are necessary in order to make a lasting, positive contribution to the pharmaceutical field. As it regards my educational background, I recently graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. During my studies, I acquired skills in everything from molecular cloning and DNA and RNA extraction to tissue culture techniques and gel chromatography. From these, I learned the importance of accuracy, precision, and paying attention to detail. My coursework, which spanned Medical Microbiology, Biostatistics, and Experimental Biochemistry, equipped me with advanced critical and analytical thinking, innovative problem-solving, and vital organizational skills that can be directly applied to Pharmaceutical
