Ever since I was l little, my dream was always to become a doctor. I have had my mind set on this which encourages me to do better in all my classes. My reasons for volunteering are to get a glimpse into what my future could look like, to get inspired, and to make a difference.
My first reason for volunteering is it would help me experience what being in the medical field is like. Getting the opportunity to work in a hospital will allow me to see what doctors do on a daily basis. I would also be able to get comfortable and see if I enjoy the work environment.
I am very flexible when it comes to new situations, so I am sure that I will fit right in.

Even though I have hoped to be in this field for years, nothing compares to actually helping out in an actual hospital. Even though I will not be able to do the doctors’ job, I am hoping to see some patients over the course of the time get better. I feel as if I could get inspired by the fact that if I am a doctor, I can help a person get back to the way they were. I believe that this is the whole point of being in the medical field, helping other people get better. If I could get that inspiration, then I know that I should go on with my goal of being a doctor.
My last reason for volunteering is I would be able to make a difference. Even though every Friday I volunteer at an elementary school, I feel like I could make more of an impact if I volunteer at a hospital. Especially if I decide to pursue this career, I could make a great difference to the community. Even though I will not be doing what the doctor does, the simplest of things can make an impact.
Through volunteering, I hope to gain new experiences, new skills, and see how being a doctor really is. I hope that volunteering as a teen could be stories that I tell later in life that
