Driving is a huge responsibility in life, whether you are just turning 16 or you have been driving for many years. People need the freedom to be able to drive to get from point A to point B, whether it would be going to work or school. More and more obstacles are being put in the way than what there really should be. Accidents happen every single day, but it seems to be getting much worse. A study shows that people can’t focus on more than one thing at a time (Llaurado 15). A huge issue in today’s world is people texting and driving. Whether it is a smart phone or a basic flip phone, it seems that people can’t live without it or be away from it for ten minutes. With this being said, people tend to lose control of the wheel and crash into objects and/or people. There are multiple different ways to get distracted while driving, but texting is by far the worse (Llaurado 15). Texting is so dangerous.
