Marijuana is and will continue to be an extensive topic of discussion in both the political and everyday world. The subject of legalization of marijuana, for recreational use, is one of the most controversial discussions today. Many politicians are strongly in favor of the drug remaining illegal, however, the facts that are currently revealed show that marijuana should be legalized. Facts and recent studies have shown a change in many people's minds on the idea of the drug being legal.
One reason, why marijuana should be legalized, is because it does not have any serious health risks. Tests have shown more people die from legalized marketable items, such as alcohol and tobacco, but there have been no reports of fatalities from cannabis.
Secondly, legalizing marijuana will create more jobs for Americans. Where marijuana is already legalized, there have been increases in the states employment rate. Legalizing marijuana in all the states will bring one of the largest cash crops in the nation under this law. This will create more jobs and make the economy financially better.

It will also reduce court and correction costs used now for the prosecution of individuals who are caught in possession, distribution, and using; since it is illegal. In the end, the outcome is more favorable to legalize marijuana. More and more facts that support the legalization of marijuana are coming into play. Facts from doctors themselves and politicians which can ultimately change the minds of Americans. Statistically, the majority of Americans presently think marijuana should be
