Cloning has been used since the 1880s, a German biologist named Hans Driesch used an embryo cell to clone an urchin. With today’s technology and scientific advances, many people are asking, “Should you clone pets?” Scientists have been cloning animals for a long time now, for people who are doing experiments, for grief over a lost pet, or even for food. I think that pet cloning is not a good idea, here are some facts for you to consider.
Most religious doctrine states that cloning is wrong and unethical. It has been said by many religious leaders that “Scientists are trying to play God”. There are some religions that practice ritualist burying of their pets to ensure safe passage to the other-side, therefore cloning their pets would defeat this purpose.
