Mice and rats make up eighty-five percent of the population of animals being tested on, but what about that other fifteen percent? Cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, primates, and reptiles make up the rest of the animal testing population. Some of which may be people pets which they love very much. Animal testing is something that has become an issue throughout the world. Animal testing has been an issue since the early 1900’s. It is common in most countries for the human being to test on animals where there is a good base population, such as dogs cats, mice, and rats. People are testing products on animals to see if they are harmful. If not then those products can be tested on humans. If the product is successful then it can be moved into mass production, and be sold in stores and money will be sent to the companies making the product.
