In order to build a successful business, one must be able to identify the possible environmental and organizational pressures that may arise. The desired outcome for the change is to help customers see the worth of paying a little more for better food and service. This is achieved through better service and a friendly atmosphere, accompanied with great food. The steps to get the desired results include teaching each employee how to make eye contact with customers, smile and treat them like an old friend. Once the order is taken the server should double check the order, as to make sure all items ordered are entered correctly. Each order should be reviewed before serving to assure quality product. Once the food is served the server should make sure all items are to the satisfaction of the customer. The server should then check on the customer at least once during the meal, making sure all items are still good and if any other assistance is needed. It is important that the customers feel like they are the most important customer. This attitude allows each person to feel important and happy with their experience. The employees should never leave an opportunity to make something better left undone, this is why there is such a focus on food quality and customer service.
