Top of Form These last few years have brought many changes to my goals and where my state of mind is. While my time here at Marymount has been the reason for all of it, I can’t help but thank my last year of high school for setting me in the right direction. Ever since I could remember I have always had a strong interest in healthcare. It amazed me how a person was capable of making an animal or human better physically, mentally, and emotionally with their known knowledge and skills. So I found myself for a year or two bouncing from possible health professions because that’s what I wanted to do with my life one day. Eventually, I decided that being a doctor is truly what I want to achieve. It is now my long term educational goal to be a licensed physician to practice globally. As for my career goal I hope to contribute to global health care projects such as countries who are in need of assistance with the poor health they’re experiencing. For my short term goal, I just want to do the best I can academically and as an athlete here for the saint’s. I’m aiming to make a memorable experience with the few years I have left in my undergrad. I feel I should be selected as a recipient because I demonstrate the qualities of a successful leader in the community. Therefore, being selected as a recipient would only enhance my ability to be more involved in the Marymount community since I’ll be spending more time on campus. I can only see this as a positive outcome for myself, my academic goals, and my relationships I’ll make as a student athlete in the Marymount. Please, if there is anything that could improve my chances or additional work that I must do to obtain this position, I would be more than happy to do
