As we were given the assignment to be able to come up with a senior project idea, my mind went to all sorts of places. I would think: what is something that I have always wanted to do, but cannot seem to find the time to do it? I thought that exercising has always been an important thing in my life and eating healthy because I feel like a whole new person when I am doing these two things. I am someone that is constantly stressed and came to notice that as I am exercising, I’m not thinking; I don’t think about what I have to do later in the day or what’s coming up the next week, I live in that moment, in the now, when I am exercising. The two things combined are an essential part of anyone’s life, which is why I chose this for my senior project - knowing that I have no excuse to not keep on doing these things, so having to find time for this is key.

I began to exercise in September, and I came to notice that it would hurt severely; this would cause me to stop exercising due to how intense the pain would get and how much it would hurt even when I stopped. Taking a break and starting my exercise in November didn’t help me at all, it continued to hurt even more and would not decrease.
