Renaissance Art in the Modern World

The Renaissance the literal “rebirth” following the Middle ages in European civilization, Emerging in Italy approximately in the 14th century to the 17th century. With the upbringing of a great revival in classical learning and values from ancient Greece and Rome, the development of dominant technology like the printing press and the blooming of unique art in paintings and sculptures which apprehend the expression of Individualism, Realism and Humanism through the form of art. One of the artists to capture this was Leonardo da Vinci one the most known High Renaissance artists worldwide with paintings like the Mona Lisa, the Last Supper, La Scapigliata and many more.
