The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet was a play that featured many different twisting, conflicting and confusing themes and events. These themes and events made The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet the most acclaimed play in history. One of these events happened in act three, scene one of the play. Performing act three, scene one of The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet helped me understand the anger Tybalt had for Romeo and the scene was important because it ties in with the thematic concern of fate. Tybalt’s hatred for Romeo became apparent in act one, when Romeo was at the Capulet party. Other than that, Tybalt’s character was hardly described in the early stages of the play. In act three, scene one, I was able to understand Tybalt’s anger toward Romeo
