Should both (biological) parents opinion be taken into consideration when contemplating abortion?

A range of moral and ethical issues arise when discussing unplanned pregnancy and abortion, of these it is critical to analyse prior to the discussion of abortion as a practice, the influence of each parents opinion. So differentiating dependant on the culture, abortion has operated in both western and eastern cultures since the early 8th centuries (Guttmacher Institute, 2017), although its original purpose has not changed, its significance has, sole cause for the need to analyse this ethical problem. When both opinions are not taken into consideration, and the mothers are held of more weight than that of the fathers often distress can be caused later in life. If for example, following an abortion that the father had wanted, he is found to be infertile, significant distress and obvious regret may affect his relationships and quality of life later in life. Summed up by Armin A. Brott “A woman can legally deprive a man of his right to become a parent or force him to become one against his will.”
2. There is no growth of a child, in ten years, twenty years, so on and so forth, there is not another person to add to a family, there is not another person in this world, healthy.
3. The abortion could potentially harm the mother, female infanticide a practice spanning 2000 years in China, is an unsanctioned method of family planning and population control. Often however without the consent of the mother, these abortions harm the mother's reproductive organs, often leading to miscarriages and dangerous pregnancies later on.
