Don’t take our word for it - see why 10 million students trust us with their essay needs.
The first issue that people encounter would be that we don’t know whether or not the craft will take off and make it into space, which wastes billions of dollars, and ends the lives of astronauts. It also is a hit or miss when astronauts are landing at the destination. After a long time of travel, if something goes wrong when trying to land, they could crash and waste even more lives, time, and money. Not only this but people in space have to deal with zero gravity and the type of weightlessness they experience with zero gravity wrecks their body, and can cause dysfunctional immune cells, or red blood cells to explode, it also causes kidney stones and can affect cardiovascular health. Humans are at a constant health risk when going into space.
If NASA was getting 16.1 billion dollars a year as it was in 2005 that means that NASA added 180 billion dollars to the economy. The continued growth of NASA’s budget will only have a positive effect on the
Just for a second close your eyes and think about all of those cool space movies that intrigue you the most. For my Star Wars and Star Trek fans let me say this first. Yes those movies were in fact science fiction; although, how cool would it be to have all of those cool gadgets and be able to travel off planet and see other stars and galaxies. I believe that the abandonment of NASA space program was a mistake for the reason that all of our problems that we have on in terms of wealth, resources and cultural conflict could be answered with what might be in space. Before the idea is immediately struck down lets’ turn back the clock about 60 years.
Without funds NASA cannot develop new technology and without technology researchers and scientists would not be able to explain a discovery that they made with existing technology. For example, without the invention of the Mars Rover, scientists would not have been able to discover water on Mars. This example alone leaves people questioning space and it attributes such as planets, galaxies and even aliens. This curiosity leads to the second reason as to why people support space activities. The idea of travelling to space is one of the driving factors for people to support funding of space exploration.
We need to encourage space exploration because space might hold the solution to problems on Earth. Even if astronomers do not find what they are looking for, they always end up inventing something that helps people out here on
As it states in “Future of Space” that lot’s humanitarian needs have to be met and this can lead to new technology advancements that can impact the Earth. It clearly tells the reader that space exploration creates advancements that help the Earth in many ways. It also states in “Leaving Main Street” that space exploration inspires students to pursue innovative projects, careers, and new technologies that impact different STEM areas. This tells the reader that when Americans explore space it creates more and more technology that can impact the future of space exploration. All of these articles clearly state space exploration can lead to new discoveries and it inspires a lot of
Attention Congressman Burgess, Our nation is the greatest in the world, yet we have our flaws. In order to fix the defects of the United States, I believe our current laws on the economy, foreign policy, and criminal behaviour must be revised. This letter will cover a specific issue in each of the aforementioned categories. I believe that the government needs to increase the budget for space programs like NASA and SpaceX. Looking around, you will find countless inventions.
A web of ships will sail through the stars peacefully in the near future, but currently, what catches the eye will be a junkyard of shattered ships, debris, and wasted resources and money. Although most people think space is innovative and engaging, some would say that it is not worth it because there are problems on Earth that can be solved with the resources and money we have, and it is currently very dangerous for our astronauts. The bad reasons mostly outweigh the good ones, so space exploration is NOT worth it for the United States. The first reason that space exploration is not worth it is because the money and resources humans
The first implication is the fate of the U.S. economy: jobs, budgets, and national relations (Source A). One misconception regarding spending taxpayer money on space exploration is that goes into space and stays there (Source H). Contrary to Source H, Source A states that this money comes back all around us. Space exploration creates jobs and salaries involving materials, building, designing, researching, and studying.
They have spent over 18 billion dollars on expanding our technology and using our resources. By doing this we have explored the universe on a whole different level. The risk of decreasing the amount we spend could be a risk but should be done to help the people in need. Not to get rid of the space program completely
Space exploration is the continuous exploration and discovery of the universe beyond our own atmosphere. It has helped make multiple helpful discoveries, making certain technologies available to be used in other forms. I can be costly, and hazardous to those involved. Is space exploration too costly and hazardous or is the understanding of space and Earth along with the spinoff technologies worth it? Benefits of Space Exploration NASA has collaborated with Google to solve challenging technical problems.
The money used to conduct space missions and experiments involving space has drastically increased in the past decade. Currently the requested budget of NASA’s space exploration program for 2018 is “[a]t $19.1 billion” dollars and is increasing each year (Beutel). This is not necessarily unwelcome because the more money they have means they can conduct addition missions each year and improve space exploration strategies faster. Space exploration has been a prodigious part of human history for thousands of years. Dating back to the late 1500s, Galileo Galilei studied many of the planets within our solar system.
We learned to monitor orbiting astronauts- pioneering telemedicine & leading to unprecedented improvements in patient monitoring”(Fowler, 1). Funding for space exploration could help physicians go into space, test materials, bring them back (if promising), and use them on patients. Also adding to that, “ We would be a much more healthy planet and society, if we stopped warring with each other and wasting precious minerals that we have on this Earth -on- war, we would have more resources to spend on more important things such as daily
So many companies nowadays rely heavily on things like GPS or are only existent because of this new area of economics and business. If we continue to push these boundaries, we will once again discover new, world changing industries that would have never been created had we not gone farther into space. Another benefit of space exploration is boost that it gives the economy. When Tyson is preaching the benefits of increased funding for space exploration, he writes “20th century USA as much of its strength and economic security to it support for science and tech” (Tyson, pg 150). The USA experienced an incredible economic boom after the space race, and the space race is more responsible for that than anything else.
At the international space station help find vacancies and research to cure some diseases. Astronauts aren 't just up their to study space but they conduct research on diseases and other bacteria to see how space affects them dn how and what they can do to. Space satellites like voyager 1 and 2 have done a huge amount of research on our galaxy and flew close enough to titan one of saturn 's moon humans now know that the surface is like on the water moon. It 's not just people conducting research but satellites do more research on our own planet and solar system and figure out weather patterns and asteroids distance and what the surface of Jupiter is like and other planets and because of starlights we know how hot the sun is and what 's its made of. Satellites help everyone down here on earth it gets internet, radio stations and all and any other type of communication expect for landline phones.
