My greatest strengths as a leader include, the ability to differentiate between the time to have fun and when it's time to buckle down and get things done. As a leader, I am assertive and can make sure people will know their place without causing any unnecessary conflict within the band. As an officer, i will help get the band prepared for state by putting in multiple hours of 1 on 1 sessions with members that might be struggling or lacking in correct marching techniques; this will hopefully become a staple for future officers of the band and would really improve the footwork and playing ability of future members. Being a member of the band, i have put in multiple hours of my time to practice and perfect the music that is given to me. I have never missed a practice or rehearsal unless my absence was caused by a medical or family issues.

I was not at all surprised that my number one strength is winning others over because I love people. I love being around people whether they are strangers or friends and enjoy making conversation. In clinical, I am always excited to meet and talk to new people. Helping classmates with their patients is exciting to me because I am able to meet and talk to even more people throughout the day. I was surprised that one of my strengths was positivity.
I feel confidently in these strengths multi-tasking in a busy clinical setting, learning quickly, and gaining patients trust in a vulnerable setting as that of therapy. I am also able to follow complex instructions from my Clinical Director and the Physical Therapists. I have relied on these strengths to be a great aide and to be one day a successful PTA. I will be able to take on a full patient load and be able to provide each patient with the best treatment needed for their cases. I enjoy being a reliable employee and I feel I am an asset to the medical professional staff.
Strength One strength of mine is leadership. I am a Patrol Leader in Boy Scout Troop 50, which means that I work with younger scouts to help them with their accomplishments and encourage them to succeed in scouting. One way I help them to succeed is by teaching them scouting skills and steps needed to complete Merit Badges and other procedures. Another way that I show my strength in leadership is by working on my goals and achievements, because I can lead by example for younger scouts.
According to the Gallup findings on my Strengths Finder Assessment, I tend to go with the flow and take things as they come (adaptability), and enjoy life and the beauty in it, as well as avoid unnecessary stress for self and others (Gallup). Today I am going to tell you that even with the challenges and roadblocks we face, the future is not as scary as we might think. In these following paragraphs, I will talk about how in the future we will have the ability to make self-driving vehicles, Africa self-sufficient, renewable energy cost less than non-renewable energy, and even make a drug that can help people with autism.
To begin with, my top strength is positivity. According to Rath, “ You are generous with praise, quick to smile, and always on the lookout for the positive in the situation” (Rath p141). I believe it is always important to be positive regardless of how bad a situation is. My job is to motivate others when they become pessimistic of a certain task. This strength is essential in both school and a career as neither a classmate or a co-worker wants to surround him or herself with negativity that makes for a long day.
In the weekly large group meetings I will be able to bring these experiences to the table and contribute to the dialogue. In addition, because I have experience with service and an understanding of different ways it can manifest itself along the active citizen continuum I will be open to hearing and learning about others experiences with service and what it means to them. This translates to me being flexible and working well with others. Also,I have good communication skills which is one of the most important qualities in a leader. I value interpersonal relationships and believe that they are key to maintaining a good group dynamic.
Strengths: As a student one of my strengths is organization. I can say I can keep my school materials and notebooks organized in a way that I and others can comprehend. The reason I can say I am organized is because, I have hardly ever had in the past or present any issues with trying to find homework or assignments because I always kept my materials for each class organized and in a place I could easily find. Another strength I have is social skills. I can believe that I communicate with others well in a group.
