Teaching professionals benefit greatly from collaboration. I had the opportunity to observe departmental collaboration meetings during pre-clinical experiences. I was able to begin developing competency for my future as a teacher. Their main goal was to determine the best practices to utilize in the classroom that would benefit every student. Although I was only an observer, I learned the many areas teachers reflect on in the classroom. Also, the importance of how the support of fellow teachers will enhance my own classroom experience was prevalent after observing the meetings.
I look forward to the collaboration insight I will receive through demonstration teaching. I want to be an effective and efficient teacher. I feel through the support of my clinical supervisor, cohort facilitators, and the school staff I will receive the necessary information and support to support my goals.

Teaching a class of thirty students or more will challenging, having the ability to problem-solve will be extremely important. A simple problem can turn into a major issue for middle school students. I feel it is important for them to see their teacher as someone they can respect and trust. This will lead to the students feeling safe in the classroom. Having a positive outlook on events in the classroom will give the students a positive attitude. As problems arise, being able to quickly respond and react will be important to leading a productive classroom because it will minimize the number of disruptions during class
