I think it is extremely important for teenagers to have an outlet besides their parents to talk to about an issue, to get advice, or simply for comfort.. In a panic, Romeo turns to Friar Lawrence who can offer neutral advice. At first, the Friar can't believe how quickly Romeo has abandoned Rosaline and fallen in love with Juliet, so he reminds Romeo of the suddenness of his decisions. However, he agrees to marry Romeo and Juliet in the hope that their marriage will heal the tension between the Montagues and the Capulets. I talk to my friends way more than my own parents.
