A huge debate going on now of days is the debate about gun laws.
Some people think that there should be stricter gun laws, while others think they don't need stricter gun laws and that they have a right to own guns. Overall it is very clear that more laws need to be in place. If we had strong laws against guns the overall number of deaths by gun will go down. Also guns are almost never used for self defense so saying that guns save lives is false. The thing that is most shocking is the fact that most guns used in crimes are legally owned guns that were stolen. Guns shouldn't be with in homes and that fact is undeniable.

The least employed protective behavior.” This just shows that gun are not saving lives. A lot of gun supporters argue self defense as a huge reason why they should be able to own guns. One of my sources show that guns that are legal can still be used for evil, it says that. “Legally owned guns are frequently stolen and used by criminals. A june 2013 institute of medicine (IOM) report states that “‘almost all guns used in criminal acts enter circulation via initial legal transactions.”’ This just shows there should be stricter gun laws because even guns that are bought legally still end up getting used for a crime. Sure while these guns were stolen still if there were no guns in the first place it never would have happen. Most guns are stolen and used for crime so don't let just anyone own a gun.
