W alter Disney was an American business magnate, animator, producer, and voice actor. In this paper I will be talking about the day Walt Disney was born, the day he died, and everyday in-between. He is regarded as an international icon, well known for his influence and contribution to the field of entertainment during the twentieth century. You may recognize him for being the creator of Mickey Mouse. I hope you learn as much from this paper as I did writing it.
Born in 1901, Walt Disney was a man of many things-- a perfectionist, an entrepreneur, cartoonist, voice actor, and film producer. He managed to go from being a man who was bankrupt to being a famed multi-millionaire and becoming an icon for many cartoonists and animators. Though, none of this would have come to be without his brother Roy, who partnered with him and helped him make many of his decisions. Together, these once poor brothers came together and formed the Walt Disney Company and later, Disneyland. Starting in the 20s, these brothers formed their soon to be career plan and began drawing cartoons-- one of the most famous was a mouse; Mickey Mouse.
Walt Disney. You’ve probably heard of him. Born in Chicago on December 5 of 1901 he was a film producer, a magazine magnate, the co-founder of the Walt Disney Company, as well as an iconic figure of Twentieth Century media and entertainment industry. As a child he moved between Marceline in Missouri, Kansas City, and finally he moved back to Chicago. He also became interested in art and took lessons at the Kansas City Institute and the Chicago art Institute.
Walt Disney has many names; Mr. Disney, Mickey Mouse, even Uncle Walt. The most commonly known nickname is, 'the man behind the magic'. This is a very deserving name, as everything he touched, he turned into a fantasy. Disney turned war into a children's cartoon, and an empty lot into a magical kingdom. This magical kingdom was Walt's lifetime goal, a fantasy which even he didn't always see as a reality.

In 1919, the dream to become a professional artist prevailed; this caused Walt to relocate to Kansas City to start his career as an artist. Having the talent of a graphic designer, Walt lacked what was necessary to create satirical newspaper cartoons. Therefore, the attempt in Kansas City came to an end do to the unsuccessful event that he had. Walt’s hopes and dream did not stop there. Disney struggled for eight years in and out of jobs but remained hopeful through his times of struggles of failed ideas.

Sometimes the worst events can have the greatest outcomes and that was true in Disney's case. In a biography written about Disney's life, his inspiration for Mickey Mouse came from a memory. When he was young he caught a field mouse and made a leash for it. He brought it to class and there were many screams. He immediately got in trouble but he would never forget the bright personality of the mouse later to have the name of Mickey.
